 1      COMMUNITY FIRST AID AND SAFETY  Health Science & Technology 
A must take course which includes rescue breathing, obstructed airway and CPR for adults, children and infants plus 3 hours of basic First Aid.  Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive an Adult, Child, and Infant CPR certificate and a First Aid Basics certificate.

 2      SLAM DUNK BASKETBALL REFEREE/COACHING  Business, Management & Administration

Aspiring reporters, writers, and editors will learn the basics of what it takes to publish a newspaper. Students will meet with St. Paul Pioneer Press newsroom staffers on a regular basis and will learn the fundamentals of good reporting and writing.

Meet KSTP’s Patrick Hammer, the world’s greatest meteorologist. It’s cirrus, stratus, cumulonimbus, global warming, jet streams and the effects of the atmosphere on the environment and human activities.  Experience the world of meteorology and environmental science through the Science Museum of Minnesota’s “Science on a Sphere” using the web based  Google maps and GeoCaching.  Take a field trip to KSTP and get your feet wet on a cutting edge career in meteorology.
